Vertical bridge piercing wanted in S.F.

Hi,

Does anyone have any recommendations on someone in S.F. where I can get a vertical bridge piercing.

Body Manipulations no longer do it, and Brain drops no longer do it. (I want to get the tiny barbell placed in it)

Any advise would help.

Does anyone here have Pierced Glasses?

I saw that there were a couple of posts about the pierced glasses. I've always wanted a bridge, but thought the glasses woudl get in the way. Seeing the pierced glasses made me excited to get the peircing and the glasses.

Does anyone have them? How do you like them? The main site www.piercedglasses.com doesn't seem to have them available quite yet. If he doesn't put them out soon, I'll work with a fabricator to have them done. I really want these.

I better go get pierced now...so it'll be healed enough to have the pressure and movement of taking them on and off.

ok i got many peircings in my face and many other places but i did them all i just am worried abotu doing my bridge does any one know how to do it cause i need to know whereis a good place to peirce it and is it dangerouse could my face fall ?? please help me now

Gross! Newest Place to Pierce Your Body

This is not for the squeamish. A Dallas, Texas man who calls himself an artist has created a whole new way to wear eyeglasses: Hold them on your face with a piercing bar attachment that goes right through the bridge of your nose. (We'll pause here so you can squeal "Ew!")

The 1-inch bar is inserted through the bridge of the nose, much like shoving a barbell between your eyes. Even the inventor, artist James Sooy, is realistic enough to acknowledge it's not likely to become a huge fad. Still, he and CO-inventor Oliver Gilson, whose day job is bartending, are seeking a patent and plan to have a model available by June that will sell for about $75 to $100, reports The Associated Press.

Besides the ick factor, what are the drawbacks? The piercing bar could move or pop out, Elayne Angel, medical coordinator for the Association of Professional Piercers, told AP. If you want to take the lenses off your face at bedtime, for a shower, or to clean them, you actually have to do it with a screwdriver. In addition, the piercing location may mean that the lenses cannot be positioned properly for optimal eyesight.

Sooy claims the piercing is relatively painless. (We're thinking the key word here is "relatively.") He also claims that pierced glasses are more comfortable than regular glasses because they have no frames, only lenses, and they don't rub against the ears.

you or have you worn in the bridge piercing?

i have a shiney blue spike that i have worn but it is a bit long. LOL
